Venom & fangs
Monthly Class
An EroSoma Movement class to to feel safe, powerful and vibrantly alive. Drop the people-pleasing, uncage your rage and shake off what's weighing you down, so you can set the boundaries you need to flourish in midlife.
Let your messy, undomesticated self remind you of what you burn for. Support your body and nervous system to slowly and intentionally access the emotions that you've been taught to keep buried deep - anger and wild play - in a held space where all of you is welcome.
Join me for a real-time, guided somatic practice. You'll be moving, sensing, and tracking your body the whole way through. You'll leave reset and revitalised, and dripping in pleasure!!
When: Thursday 20th August at 6pm AEST | 60min session - See in your timezone
Where: Via Zoom
faq
Who is EroSoma Movement for?
For women, vulva owners, or intersex folk raised as girls who are ready to return to their bodies, reclaim aliveness, and move from genuine safety and authentic power.
Do I need any dance or movement experience?
None! It's not about technique or performance, and can be modified for limited or restricted mobility.
Is EroSoma sexual? What does "erotic" mean here?
"Erotic" refers to Eros as creative life-force energy. Essentially, reclaiming vitality, desire, and personal embodiment. The practice is self-led and consent-based.
What can I expect to feel during and after a session?
Everyone feels different which is perfect. There might be moments of awkwardness or "am I doing it right" and it's also normal to not feel much at all if you're new to embodied movement. Self-agency is paramount, so you're always in charge of your own experience. The closing integration practice helps your nervous system consolidate the experience so you leave resourced, not wrung out. It's common to leave feeling grounded, connected to your body's wisdom, energised and turned on to life!
Is it trauma-informed? What if I have a history of trauma?
Yes, EroSoma is fully trauma-informed and built on principles of neuroceptive awareness; however please note, EroSoma is an embodied movement practice, not trauma therapy. If you are in crisis or early trauma processing, please ensure you're personally resourced enough to participate.
What should I wear?
Whatever lets your body feel comfortable and free to move! There's an invitation to dress in a way that feels sensual, expressive and true to how you want to be witnessed that day. Layers are encouraged - practically as your body warms up, and as part of the embodied experience of shedding what no longer serves. Flowing fabrics, activewear, or clothes that unleash your wild-side… all of it belongs.
